1. LEADERSHIP

If the leadership of the organization isn’t in alignment, the rest of the brand doesn’t stand a chance. Differing values, goals, strategies… Having more than one vision inevitably turns into di-vision. We start with leadership because it’s the riverhead of the organization, and quite often the most neglected area of a company. A few targeted strategy sessions can bring clarity to even the muddiest of waters.  

2. INTERNAL CULTURE

From a united leadership we must ensure the internal culture is healthy. If your employees don’t regularly experience the values you claim to hold; if the culture isn’t one of honoring one another; if turn-over is high or if there are inefficiencies in employee training… These symptoms tell us that there’s a disconnect between what leadership believes is taking place in their teams and what actually is.

3. VISUAL

This is where our process turns to more traditional “branding” activities. We must make sure the face of your organization reflects the excellence and professionalism that you strive to put forward. You only get one chance for first impressions, and our team will make sure your company looks its best (from every angle).  

4. VERBAL

How you say what you say is what you say. Inflection, word choice, tone… They paint the personality of your company to the world. What do you care about? Why should people care about your company? Are you communicating with clarity and confidence? Our copywriters help develop compelling taglines and marketing language that reflect everything upstream we’ve worked thus far to establish.

5. TOUCHPOINTS

A touchpoint is anywhere your company interacts with your target customers. And if you’re like most companies today, you have a bunch of them. Your website, social media accounts, printed materials, signage, apparel, marketing campaigns… Touchpoints are the primary place that companies interact with their tribes of customers, and yet it’s also where they have the least clarity and confidence. “What should we say on that billboard?” “Who is going to post on Facebook today?” “We need a new brochure, can someone just throw it together?” Don’t underestimate the importance of your company’s touchpoints.  

6. CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Your customer’s experience eventually turns into your reputation, which eventually turns into your company’s legacy. What are people saying about you behind your back? If all you’re hearing is compliments and praise, you’re listening to the wrong people. We conduct anonymous surveys of recent customers and uncover blindspots that your teams can begin fixing. This type of insight is invaluable.

What about the how?

The ancient Greeks had two words for time.

The first was Chronos.

It refers to clock time – time that can be measured – seconds, minutes, hours, years.

The second was Kairos.

It measures moments. Where chronos is quantitative, kairos is qualitative. As a whole, kairos refers to the right time, the opportune moment.

The Kairos Circle is a spiritual growth tool developed by Mike Breen. We’ve adopted (and adapted) it as a pathway for clients. It has 7 distinct stages:

Our Process

1: Kairos Moment Something happened, and you’ve realized that something needs to change. This is when we connect and decide to partner to create positive growth in your organization.

2: Observe The first action step is to pay attention. It’s the necessary phase where we hit pause and observe. It’s when the information gathering occurs. As a team, we interview your employees, do site visits, and go on “secret shopper” explorations.

3: Reflect Our team will then take all of our observations, and distill them. This is essential to understanding the realities surrounding the problems, goals, and growth you’ll focus on. We will then lead your team through a discovery session.

4: Discover These are critical roundtable discussions, where our teams come together and speak honestly about the soul, personality, and reputation of your company.

5: Plan We create solutions for aligning realities and expectations. Our team spends a few weeks building a comprehensive strategy, focusing on six specific areas of your company: Leadership, Internal Culture, Visual, Verbal, Customer Experience and Touchpoints.

6: Partner Depending on the scope of the plan, we’ll propose a strategic partnership between our team and your company to ensure the plan is carried through with excellence. We’ll then connect 1-1 with people on your team, scheduling milestones.

7: Act For the next 6 months, 12 months, 2 years… as long as it takes. We work hand-in-hand with your team with daily check-ins, weekly meetings and monthly reviews. We aren’t just consultants with grand ideas and flat plans. We partner with you to create change.
